Green Peace Protest.

Green Peace protesters, rappelled off the West End Bridge Wednesday afternoon in Pittsburgh Pa. This comes one day before the G-20 summit is to starts in the city. The protesters draped a banner from the bridge about lowers C02 emissions. The protest ended peacefully, as all member involved were arrested.

Farmer's Market

Bob Culver from Avoca New York, passed away July 13, 2009 from his battle with cancer. I met with Culver on Memorial Day weekend when he got to live out his last dream at Watkins Glen International Speedway. His words of hope will live on.

Soaring Competition

Many people from across the nation gathered at Harris Hill for a week of soaring competitions.

After a week of covering people emotions dealing with loss of life, and capturing moments in time, that some could want to forget. A week of sadness and sorrow for the city of Pittsburgh, made me think about life and all the joys that we have and should never take for nothing less but life.

People mourning the loss of the policemen in Pittsburgh, Thousands of police officers and citizens lined the streets for the procession of the fallen police men from downtown Pittsburgh to the Petersen Event Center on Thursday April 9. A public memorial was held at the event center for officers Paul J. Sciullo II, 36, Stephen J. Mayhle, 29 and Officer Eric G. Kelly, 41, who lost their lives Saturday morning April 4. A somber day as many pay their last respects to these fallen heroes.

Today on the news about the fallen policemen in Pittsburgh reminded me of the time covering a firemen funeral. The life and family they leave behind to help protect and save the community around them, and just remembering this, those who lost their lives will never be forgotten.
